This Privacy Policy explains how MyCareerBot ("we", "our", "us") handles information when you use the MyCareerBot app and website.

2. Information we collect

• Profile and preference details entered in the app.
• Assessment answers, streaks, and progress data.
• Share-card content created by in-app actions.
• Limited technical and diagnostic information from third-party SDKs, including device/app identifiers (such as Android Advertising ID and other device or app IDs), app performance and reliability signals, and ad interaction signals (for ad delivery and measurement).

3. How we use information

• Provide personalized career guidance and recommendations.
• Show progress features such as streaks and daily actions.
• Maintain app reliability, security, fraud prevention, and performance.
• Deliver and measure ads in supported app experiences.
• Respond to support, legal, or privacy inquiries.

4. Local-first storage model

Core app progress data is primarily stored on your device. In most cases, uninstalling the app removes local records unless your device backup restores them.

5. Ads, analytics, and third-party services

MyCareerBot uses third-party SDKs/services, including AppLovin MAX (and related partners), for ad delivery, analytics, diagnostics, and fraud prevention.

These providers may automatically collect and process limited technical data, including device or other identifiers (for example, Advertising ID), app/device metadata, and ad performance signals, under their own privacy policies.

Depending on region, device settings, and product configuration, ad requests may be configured with privacy controls where available.

6. Data sharing and sale

We do not sell personal information.

We may share limited data with service providers/partners (for example, advertising, analytics, attribution, and fraud-prevention partners) only where necessary to operate, secure, improve, and monetize the app, or where required by law.

7. Permissions and device access

• Internet: required for app services, diagnostics, and ad delivery.
• Notifications (optional): used only if you enable reminders. You can disable notifications in app or device settings.

8. Data retention and deletion

Data is retained only as long as necessary for app functionality, legitimate business purposes, and legal compliance.

You can request deletion/help by contacting support@mycareerbot.in. Local app data can generally be removed by uninstalling the app or clearing app data.

9. Children and families

MyCareerBot is designed for students and families. Parents/guardians should supervise use where appropriate. If you believe data from a child should be removed, contact us and we will assist.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

11. Your rights and choices

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, or deletion support by contacting us at support@mycareerbot.in.

You can also:

• Disable notifications at any time.
• Control local app data by clearing app data/uninstalling.
• Manage ad identifier/privacy controls in your device settings where supported.

12. International processing
